A training aid can provide just that little extra support while riding. There are different reins for different purposes. Of course you can shop them all at Zalda!
A martingale prevents the horse from moving its head too far upwards, thus protecting the contact between rider and horse. When the horse is walking correctly, the martingale has no effect.
A harborough ensures that the horse cannot move his head too far up or forward. When the horse is walking correctly, the harborough has no effect.
A drawrein helps to bring the horse's head down. It can be attached to the girth between the horse's forelegs or to the saddle's sweat sheets. The use of a drawrein requires a steady hand from the rider.
If you have more questions about the use of trainingaids you can always contact Zalda Equestrian! We will be happy to help you!
